Happy Anniversary!

6 years ago.....

Our Wedding Day
Ryan is so hot...and little too!!

I cant even believe that we have been married now for 6 years. And we have three kids. I thought I was done after Spencer, so good thing we kept going. Ryan did the neatest thing for me. I had to work on Friday and at about 2:00pm he came to my work with a dozen roses and said "come on lets go!" I was really confused because I was booked that afternoon. Little did I know that they were fake appointments and he planned everything with my bosses. He arranged for my sister Nikki to take the kids for the night and he took me to the Hyatt in Scottsdale! We went on a gondola ride while the man sang beautiful music, went to the movies, and to dinner and the best part is that we got to sleep in the morning. Neither of us can remember the last time we actually slept all night and didn't have to get up at 6:00 am! We only slept in till 7:30 and then couldn't sleep any more-I guess are bodies are conditioned (but I had dreams of sleeping in till noon!). The next day we had Nikki bring the kids and we played and swam at the pool all afternoon. It was the best anniversary ever. Ryan you did so good! I will never forget it.

Fun Pics

Here are some fun pictures of things that happened in the last couple of weeks.....

We went to Central over Labor Day and had lots of fun! The boys got to ride one of Grandpa Smith's Horses.

Later in the evening we went to Red Knolls and had a BBQ. Matt brought his rapelling stuff which was really fun. I was definitely too chicken to try but the boys climbed all the way to the top to watch!
FHE Fun

Spencer and Dallan in the suits Grandpa Bodine got them in Florida. They love them, and so do I. They are soooo cute!
Spencer did this puzzle all by himself. He was so proud of himself he even asked me if he could sleep on it.
This is the funniest picture ever! We went to check on the boys one night before we went to bed and we found Dallan sleeping like this, with his doggy animal between his legs. We couldn't stop laughing. The funny thing is we find him like this quite a bit!

Carson at 6 months!

6 Month Stats

Weight: 18.5 lbs

Length: 28.5 Inches

Wow, Carson is growing so fast. He is so fun to be with. He is always smiling and happy. He started eating solids over the past month and loves everything you feed to him. His favorite thing right now is little bitter biscuits, he thinks he is in heaven! He sits up on his own like a pro and will play by himself for an hour! I still can't believe it but he is pretty close to crawling. He is the sweetest little guy. This is a little video of him about 3 weeks ago. (Yes, it is long but I couldn't figure out how to make it shorter, I will work on that!)

Poo Panda!

We wanted to do something fun this weekend so we told the boys we could go see Kung Fu Panda. They have been asking to see it for forever but we have been holding off because my Summer Fun at the Movies experience was not very good. Dallan would sit for the first thirty seconds then want to run around everywhere. The funny thing about it was that Dallan can't say Kung Fu, so he usually says Poo Poo. So all day he was so excited to see Poo Poo Panda. It was so funny! He actually sat through the whole movie, which is a first! He thought it was pretty scary though. About 10 minutes into it I look over and his little lip was trembling and he was whispering "turn it off mommy", but he still didn't want to leave. We are hoping it doesn't give him nightmares. Too bad Poo Poo Panda was not all he thought it would be!!

NEW YORK!

What can I say? I just spent an awesome, but very short weekend in New York City! The salon that I work at sent me and another girl to the Bumble and Bumble University (Bb is a product line we carry) to learn a new treatment line we are bringing to the salon. We stayed at the Hudson right by Columbus circle and Central Park. We were in class most of the day but still had time to do lots of shopping and have some really funny experiences in China Town and in lots of cabs! It was really humid (my face felt like it was getting a constant steam facial),so waiting for the Subway was like torture, especially because it was on a weekend schedule. I don't ever remember it being so humid or smelly in the Subways when I lived there before, but after about a day we said heck with the Subway we'll just take a cab!(too bad we couldn't get on Cash Cab, it would have been a lot cheaper!)
This is the view from the Bb U Salon. Can you imagine the view while you are getting your hair done-amazing!
This was in Central Park where we had the funniest little bike guy ride us around (aah, the joys of vacationing and actually having some money), it was so relaxing.

Times Square

View of Ground Zero. This was so sad. I haven't been back to New York since 9-11, it was still a very almost reverent scene.
This was our morning view from our hotel room- so beautiful!
Some of our fabulous buys, (yes those are giraffe purses all for $25!). Of course, I had to stop at H &M!
The night before we left we went down to Serendipity and waited for about an hour for some amazing Frozen Hot Chocolate!

I have to say thank you so much to Ryan for taking such good care of the boys! He really is just unbelievable sometimes and I appreciate him letting me do this.

Case of the traveling baby!

Carson is getting so big! The other day I put him on the ground under his little play gym and went into the kitchen. I came back like 3 minutes later and he was all the way over by the puzzles! He can't really scoot yet so it is still a mystery how he got there. I guess I am going to have to start watching what is on the WHOLE floor. He could be crawling sooner than I think. Baby-proofing here I come!!!

First Day of School

Spencer started preschool last week. He was so excited and has been asking me all summer when school started. He is in a new preschool this year with no one he knows. I not sure if that will be good or bad, we'll see! The first day of school he woke up at 5:45 am and immediately got dressed and started asking us to take him right now! Poor Dallan was just certain that he got to start school too. He got his back pack on and had me take pictures and everything. We kept telling him that he is going to drop Spencer off and when we got to school Spencer's teacher Ms. Rebbecah told all the kids to play in the back yard until everyone arrived and Dallan said, "Okay" and started walking right in! I ended up taking him to Aunt Kiki's to play at her "school". He seemed pretty pacified with that!
